For Love Sir has come to a close and it is definitely bitter sweet. This show has definitely stretched me as an actor and moved me to the core. Having to connect to become Jaime (my character) every night, feeling what she felt leaving her daughter and family to serve her country, truly being, was not an easy task. It was hard, it was tiring but i wouldn't change it for anything in the world. Her story had to be told because they're so many people that can relate to how going away to service affects relationships .
Thank you to my producer/playwright Mikaela Duffy for writing such a beautiful play. The first time I read it I new it would be a gem.
Thank you to my phenomenal director Vicki Wicks for molding this production into something i never imagined. What I've learned from you I can take with me on future productions for years to come. May your light continue to shine in everything you do.
Thank you to the super talented Cast and Crew for your hard work does not go unnoticed. By giving your all you pushed me to do the same every night.
And to my little Star Ellie who played my daughter, I loved working with you. You are talented beyond words. I watched you grow every rehearsal into this beautiful actor with so many wonderful moments on stage. I know without a doubt that this is only the beginning for you...
